Happy and Mad

Rose was playing peek-a-boo with herself last night.

She is ready to be a big sister. A playmate! Someone to love, kiss and hug! She currently loves to hug and kiss her cousin Simeon. She bends down to his level and tilts her head while saying hello in a squeaky voice and then will hug and kiss him. Ha-ha its pretty darn cute.

Yesterday I got the camera out (its been awhile) and I started to snap some shots. Before I knew it Rose went from happy to mad because she wanted to be the one taking the pictures. I kept snapping away during her tears. Hmm am I bad mom?

Happy.

Mad.

Her tantrums are short lived usually. Its been a learning experience dealing with a child and their difficult moments - crying, wanting something, being told no, being in public and screaming, behaving badly in mass and etc. Its a challenge at times!

Though we have challenges sometimes, my rewards are kisses and hugs from my dear, sweet little girl Rose.

My nephew Marshall was dropped off at college to begin his freshman year at UTKnoxville this past weekend. Marshall is my sisters oldest child. As a result, I have been looking at Rose almost in tears thinking of the day we will be taking her to college and her leaving the home as an adult for the first time. When my sister talks to me about being sad...... I can only imagine. Before being a mother I was never this emotional. Ha-ha. I am just a blob of tears sometimes, geeeeesh!!!

Speaking of Marshall, he celebrated one year in remission this past June!!!! Again, we thank Our Lord, Our Blessed Mother and all the angels and saints.

Also, my brother Danny has come back home to us! He was in OKC for a year and half due to a job. Thankfully a job opportunity brought him back!!!

I am 12 weeks pregnant.
I am feeling really good. I am looking forward to getting off Progesterone though. When Clomid is used to help achieve pregnancy you are generally put on this until 12 weeks to help sustain the pregnancy (this was the case with my pregnancy with Rose as well). I think it has contributed to my tiredness, so I am eager to be off it.

Have a good rest of the week!
