Tucson Weekend

This past weekend we drove down to Tucson for a long weekend. Mixing pleasure with business... Zac had a business meeting with a client in Tucson so we decided to make a weekend of it and visit his grandparents and spend the weekend with his mom and sister at The Omni.

We had a great time. The Omni was beautiful, the rooms were comfy, the staff spoiled us and spending time with family was a lot of fun. Zac and I spent time at the pool, got massages. I have to say the weekend was pretty complete after that massage...... Oooooh so wonderful. Tucson even surprised us with a thunderstorm, so we sat on our patio over looking the mountains and the awesome weather. The long storm ended with a rainbow. 

Zac's grandparents (his mother's side) live in Tucson, so we made a visit so they could see Rose and catch up. I didn't get a picture... grrr. I should have!

Rose did well. I think she might grow up with a complex.... having issues with small spaces. You see, each time we travel, we put her pack n play in the closet of the hotel (or where ever we are staying). This hotel room had a WALK IN so Rose had her OWN room. How bout that! I don't know what room service thinks when they come to turn down the bed or clean.... as they pass by the closet and see a packnplay. Whatever helps her sleep and be comfortable is ok with me. Right? I even brought a fan to put beside the closet door to shield noise. She slept beautifully all three nights. Golden! *I always make sure the closets are clean and safe. I don't want people to think I am shoving her in there with my clothes and ironing board. ;)

The weekend was a preview for the summer to come.... The Wilk Family San Diego trip is less then two weeks away!
