July is almost here.
Someone reminded me that this means that we are half way to Christmas. Holy cow!!! Eeeks!

Our summer vacation is less than two weeks away.
Rose is 17 months. When do people stop celebrating monthly birthdays of their children? Hmm, I am thinking two years old.

After all these years of being packed away deep in several places over the years (mom and dads, garage etc) I brought out my cupboard of dishes from when I was little. The cupbaord was mine and the dishes are the original ones that my parents gave me as a Birthday gift when I wasnt much older than Rose. This picture is of Rose opening it for the 1st time. It is now her favorite thing in the world. The dishes make for endless playtime. I am so happy that I kept this, I knew one day I would have children but I never thought I would see it (seems like an eternity and too far in the future when you are younger). There was a moment that someone asked me (in the middle of one of our moves) if I just wanted to get rif of it. I hesitated but then immediately said "I would like to keep it, if I ever have a little girl I will let her enjoy it like I did". I am so happy I did.
I sat and watched Rose play for quite a while, soaking it all in when Zac walked in, plopped down on Rose's step stool and started to play his guitar. For about ten minutes I was able to look at this precious picture.

Well, special intentions for my nephew Marshall and his one year scans scheduled for today. Also, special intentions for a prayer request. His will be done!!!
Dont melt out there. Its H-O-T!
Oh, I did a cool project last week. I will post on that next. Hint: We recently purchased a new bed and it has been head boardless until now.
Have a good week everybody.
