Memorial Day Weekend!

 

Thank you to all the men and women who fight and defend our freedoms - all past and present.

Busy weekend - Zac ventured out to Apache Junction for a friendly golf tournament for one evening. Meanwhile, Rose and I enjoyed ourselves a sleep over at the Klocek's home. Can you say pajama party?! Rose and Constantine that is.

A family lunch with the Wilk's and then a BBQ with my side. This concluded our Memorial Day! I failed to mention that the weather was beautiful this weekend and it was a sweet goodbye to spring as we welcome summer.

Tomorrow is June. Can you believe it?

So, summer. Yes, its here. It did not waste its time bringing in the wrath of heat. Since we have entered a new weather season, I have a need to purge some household items because of this feel that the house is filling up. In order to bring a few new items into the house that we want, we have a need to get rid of a few things that have been taking up space. Namely furniture. Even though they are packed away neatly and out of site, I still see them in my mind and my mind is feeling crowded. We've put them on Craigslist, in doing so, this has continued or fueled my love hate relationship with CL. Obviously I wouldn't be saying this if both items sold and were gone. Neither item has moved and its been nearly two weeks and they are still calling our garage home. I am to the point where I will need to PAY someone to take them away. What we do to make a few bucks (literally).  Goal: both items to goodwill sold.

Just found a tiny ant crawling on Rose's face. What the?!
