The Clock Is Ticking

In one blink of an eye you have grown into a beautiful little girl. Just when I think you can't get any cuter.... you do.

  My dancing queen.

My social butterfly.
My sleeping beauty.

My twirling ballerina.

My smiling little girl. 

She hates goodbyes, loves to say hi (her official first word).
Climbing to new heights now (furniture that is, eeks).

Rose you are the sweetest little thing under the sun and we love you so much.

Also, May 23rd - Happy Birthday to my sister, Maisie and my brother, Danny (yes, they share Birthdays, 7 years apart!) I love you both very much and I wish you many more wonderful Birthdays.

{Hosting Mother's Day dinner}

Recapping this month: oddly this is has been one of my busiest yet slowest months (ever!). What gives? Every weekend has been either a graduation, Z traveling, then sadly a funeral of a dear and long time friend of our families, and a golf tournament that Z is playing in. This is when I ask myself there is still another weekend left?

The heat has had something to do with it I am sure. It reached 107 just two days ago. Thankfully we have been able to make lots of visits to the pool and Rose has gotten right in the water and is loving it.
Her first visit back in the water this year she wasn't sure what to think, she looked like that little duckling cautiously dipping her feet in the still water.

Right now I am observing Rose playing by herself in her little cubby. Melts my heart and also it tugs at my heart for a new little one. A little sibling for little Rose! .... we will see what God has in store for us. He always has something wonderful and greater than we could plan ourselves. Isn't that the truth.

Got to go, Rose is stuck on top of her toy chest and cant climb down. Crying has begun.
