Summer has come and gone.
And Rose and Alison keep growing....
Rose is 2 1/2 years old and becoming more of a little person and talkative as ever. She helps me in any way that she can, with A, with laundry, making the bed or simply throwing away A's stinky diaper. When I ask if she would like to help with wiping A's dirty bottom she quickly replies "Yuck, stinky mom. Nope!" Alison is the first thing she asks for in the morning (next to daddy) and loves saying good morning to her. We've never cut Rose's hair. Sadly, it is on my to do list. A part of me doesn't want to cut it. But its time for a fresh big girl hair cut for her! We will post pictures when we do it! Her best friends? She will undoubtedly say "TT, Simin and Jophus". Her cousins. It has been so special watching them grow together. I hope they all become great friends, which I have no doubt they will.
Earlier this month Alison turned 6 months. She is such a joyful little girl. We love her so much. Rose and Alison have discovered each other (on a different level) these past two weeks. It has been so neat watching them communicate with one another. Alison is "army crawling" her way around the house. Gates are on reserve just in case. Teeth haven't made their appearance, but seeing how A is chomping, drooling and mashing on everything in site it is safe to say they are near. People comment how much she looks like her dad. I even see the resemblance, its amazing. Comparing R and A's 3 month pictures, I see such a deep likeness to each other. Z even mistook R's picture for A's.
Both their 3 month pictures hang side by side in the hall way. Each time I walk by their pictures, I still cant believe we have two children. Wild!
Our house is so excited to welcome fall. Halloween is on the mind, with costumes to pick out for the girls, and anticipating cooler whether and many family events that will be taking place in the coming couple months.
The girls our up from their naps. I can hear them both chattering in their rooms. Better go.
Till next time!
Happy Monday!
- Clara
