Boo!

 

Halloween was almost 2 weeks ago?

That flew!

 

We had a wonderful Halloween night with our Rose. Little Rose Riding Hood.

 

Aside from being spooked by a mime costume prior to her Trick or Treating... she was a champ and went to a dozen homes collecting candy in her little bucket. We tagged along with her cousins Constantine the Menace and Simeon the Troll Trick or Treating in a friends neighborhood.

 

She loved it and loved her candy even more. What an incentive to walk door to door right?

Next year we will have two walking door to door. Wow.

 

I had just as much fun dressing Rose up as she did. As an adult you lose that excitement for certain things, little things. Children re awaken the child in you (for me at least), the holidays have become more meaningful, more fun and and special since Rose has entered our lives. Might sound dumb but its really true for me. I get to see the world through a child's eye again, through Roses eyes.
