Old and Now Painted

I have a habit of stalking Craigslist for unfinished coffee tables, chests, night stands, head boards and dining tables. I consider it like window shopping? No buying, just looking? I have been on the hunt for a round oak table with an extension leaf of some sort. Purpose being to accommodate Sunday Dinners with the family and other guests (when trying to accommodate more than just Z and I).

Poof. I found one. $40.00 for an old, worn 48" round oak table, with a 2' extension leaf. Perfect. Cheap. Awesome.

Before.

After. 2' leaf not pictured.

Not my finest painting project. I spray painted with a Black Semi-Gloss and it appears a little patchy or uneven. But hey, I am a fan of the distressed look, right? I am very happy and even more happy that I have a 6' table if need be. Plus, $40 bucks. I'll take it.
